Gameboy/N64 page Hey, welcome to the new gameboy/N64 page. I will start a faq if you send in a question. For now, heres some info on the games available.
Gameboy
Red, Blue, Yellow and Green version (green not available in North America)
The plot:
are pokemon trainer Ash Ketchum,(you nick name yourself. Lets use the nick name yellow) and it is the first day of your pokemon journey. You are wanted in Proffesor Oak's lab. Proffessor Oak is the pokemon proffesor in pallet town, your hometown. You go in his lab, but he's not there. Walking outside, you decide to go to the next town. But when you step on the grass, Oak runs to stop you. "Yellow! Dont go in tall grass without a pokemon. You could get injured. Come to my lab." (in yellow version, he catches an attacking pikachu). You follow him into the lab and choose a pokemon. Bulbasaur, Squirtle or Charmander. Bulbasaur is the easiet starter pokemon. (in yellow, you get pikachu.) Once you choose a pokemon, you battle Gary Oak, Proffessor Oak's grandson. He chooses the type that works the best against you (ie, if you take charmander, he takes squirtle, or if you take squirtle, he takes bulbasaur). In Yellow, he takes an eevee. After you battle, you leave and go to Viridian city. You get a package for Oak and he thanks you and gives you a pokedex. Then, you leave to train pokemon all over the world, catch, battle and have fun!

The Eight Gym leaders and the Elite Four:
The first leader- Brock
Brock uses A level ten geodude and a level 12 onix. I suggest you get a grass or water type pokemon above level 12 before battling him. If you defeat Brock, you get the boulder badge, which alows you to use flash at any time and the power ofe your pokemon increases a bit.
The second leader, Misty
When you battle Misty, she will use water type pokemon. I suggest using a grass pokemon about level 15. If you beat her, than you get the cascade badge, which makes pokemon up to level 30 obey you. It also alows you to use cut at any time.
The third leader, Lt. Surge.
An electric type trainer, he uses pokemon like raichu. I suggest a pokemon about level 30 (you do a lot of training between Misty and Surge) that is preferably water type. You get the Thunder badge if you defeat him, allowing you to use fly at any time and increasing your pokemons speed a bit.
The fourth leader, Erika
Erika uses grass type, so you should use a fire type pokemon. It needs to be above level 30. If you beat her, you get tge rainbow badge and pokemon up to level 50 obey you. It also lets you use strength at any time.
The fifth leader, Sabrina
She uses psycic pokemon, so you should use a ghostor another psycic against her, but any high level pokemon (about level 45-50 will do. She is tough, but if you beat her, you get the marsh badge, allowing pokemon up to level 70 to obey you. Dont get them any higher or they wont obey!
The sixth leader, Koga
Koga is a fighting trainer. You will have to exit and enter his gym alot if you dont bring alot of super potions along, as you go through an invisible maze where you must battle several trainers. Try using a psycic pokemon against him. Fighting pokemon are weak against psycic. If you beat him, you get the soul badge, which lets you use surf all the time and raises your pokemons defense.
The seventh leader, Blaine
Blaine is a fire trainer. In order to get to him, you go through several trainers and either answer a question correctly, or battle them. Try the question to save you pokemons energy for Blaine. Use a water type against Blaine, very high level. If you beat him you get the volcano badge, which makes your pokemons special abilities increase a bit.
The eight and last leader, ??????????
The most difficult trainer. If you really want to know who he is, then send me an email and I will tell you. Train at least 2 pokemon to about level 70 before battling him, to make it easier. If you win against him, you get the Earth badge, which makes all pokemon obey you.

The Elite Four: #1.Lorelie,an ice trainer. Bring fire and grass for battling her. #2. Bruno, a fighting trainer. Bring a psycic pokemon or one that knows psycic against him. #3.A ghost trainer. Ghost has no weaknesses, so bring your strogest pokemon against her. #4. Lance, a dragon trainer. Again, no weakness, so bring very strongg pokemon. #5 Surprise, your opponent, Gary! Battle him to win the elite four. Bring lots of super and hyper potions and revives!

Pokemon- Gameboy card game
This is a game meant to teach you and perfect your skills at the pokemon card game. With it, you get a holo meowth card. Pretty cool. The game includes all of the pokemon cards available. I don't know how, but you somehow collect them, then build decks, test them and perfect your style. You can battle against friends using the gamelink, like blue, green, red yellow gold and silver versions. A great way to build up skill. I think its a good game. Email me info if you have it.

Pokemon gold/silver versions

Pokemon gold and silver are updated versions of the original game. They are supposedly being released in North America this summer. I hope so! The game will include different times of day (different pokemon come out at different times), new pokemon (such as red gyrados, chicorita, togepi), new hms, new gyms and more! Wait for updates when I get the game, whenever I get the game.

Pokemon Snap
Pokemon Snap is fairly old now, a year. I got my copy last summer. In Snap, you are Todd (Snap from the show) and Proffesor Oak needs you to help him with pictures for a pokemon report he is doing. Of course, you accept, and take of on an adventure. You start at the beach, gaining skill, items and points, plus pictures in your pokemon alblum and report. Fairly quick game to finish, but you can always improve your pictures. You start of at the beach where you can take pictures of many pokemon (Oak will show you how to aim and get a good shot)Than you are almost at the end of the beach when a few mysteries pop up, like how do you get Kanghaskhan to turn around, How do you get a good picture of Lapras out in the water, what is the pink ball eevee is chasing, whats that thing in the bushes, how do I wake snorlax? (pester ball, take a picture in three locations, then in the forth she's really close, I'm not going to spoil your fun, but find out with a pester ball, use a carefully aimed and well timed pester ball, poke flute). You have to wait to get a pester ball, so you can go through the level again Just for Lapras. Look out to sea, and stay looking that way. Everytime you see lapras come up, take on picture until you are in the bay next to the Kanghaskan, then if you did it right, go nuts, cus lapras will be very close! Don't be distracted by the other pokemon! Anyway, those are just a few hints. there are many others just for the beach (like lure pikachu onto the surfboard with apples!) so if you want to know more about the game, buy it! Its very fun!
