Chapter 2
Melanie woke up and got ready for the day. Her charmander, Charzy, and pikachu got up and streched. They ate breakfast and walked through the forest. Melanie battled against a few pokemon, and Charzy and pikachu got stronger.
Around lunchtime, Melanie heard something from the bushes."Wahh!"
Cried a young female voice. Melanie walked towards the voice. She hit something."OW!" Said the voice, loud and clearly annoyed.
"AAHHH!!" The two girls cried as they saw each other. Melanie spoke first. "I'm Melanie who are you and why are you crying?" She said, scared of this new girl.
"My name is Megan and I am crying because I don't get a pokemon!Mom thought I had one and proffesor thought I had one and now I don't have any!" She sobbed. "All I want is a Pikachu!"
Melanie looked at her own pikachu. "If you are a good trainer I will give you mine." She said quickly, trying not to think of the consequences of what she had just said.
Megan looked up, her eyes shining with hope. "I would be a great trainer!" She said, squealing with excitement.
"Well, than come with me!"Said Melanie, excited at the thought of a travelling companion. Megan agreed. Pikachu seemed to like her alot, and the four made a nice travelling group. Megan told great stories, and Melanie was always willing to listen.
"and then my brother says *trip* OWWWW!!!" Megan looked down at the pink things she tripped over. Two jigglypuff and two clefairy quickly sang them to sleep. When the group woke up, the pink pokemon were gone.
"Man, were they ever cute!" Melanie said, looking a bit dreamy. Megan agreed and continued with her story.
"growlithe!!!!GROW!" Came a cry from the forest. They ran in to see five baby growlithe standing around an arcanine who was badly injured and obviously the growlithe's mother.
"Oh, no! Quick, get my emergency pokestrecher out of my back pack!" Megan said. Working quickly, the girls headed of to the pokemon center. Pikachu and Charzy looked after and calmed the following growlithe.
They got out of the woods. A town was nearby and they ran into it, searching for the pokemon center. A soon as they saw it, they started yelling "NURSE JOY,POKEMON EMERGENCY!" They ran to the center.
